Colombo (News1st) – Leader of PLOT and TNA MP D. Dharmalingam speaking to News1st stated that he believes that Ranil Wickremesinghe has handed in a written assurance of several promises.

He noted that the TNA group met with Ranil Wickremesinghe on a number of occasions and that they had stressed the need for a written assurance. According to Dharmalingam, the promises are said to include agreements on constitutional amendments, freedom for political prisoners, land issue and several other matters.

The MP noted that discussions were also held on International courts in line with the UN resolutions. He reiterated that he believes that Ranil Wickremesinghe has handed in this written assurance.
