Reuters: After the cliffhanger ending of 'Avengers: Infinity War', in which half of the superheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were seen snuffed out of existence by purple alien Thanos (Josh Brolin), fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the film's sequel. On Friday morning, with no prior announcement, Walt Disney and Marvel Studios dropped the trailer for the new film, which is due out at the end of April 2019, with its title revealed as 'Avengers: Endgame'. In a departure from other superhero trailers, the promo shows no superpowers or spandex-laden action. Instead, the surviving cast, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) are seen mourning their losses in the two and a half minute trailer. Like all MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) trailers, there were a few surprises. Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye and was noticeably absent from 'Infinity War', makes an appearance as does Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) who was last seen in a perilous situation at the end of 'Ant-Man and the Wasp'.
