Chinese Cigarettes worth over Rs. 3 Mn seized at BIA

Colombo (News1st): Three Chinese nationals including a woman who attempted to smuggle 63,600 Chinese cigarettes into the country were arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Deputy Director of Customs Vipula Minuwanpitiya noted that the cigarettes are worth Rs. 3.498 million.
