Estate workers protest continues for third day

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The protest staged by estate workers demanding their wage to be increased to Rs. 1000 entered it's third consecutive day today (December 06). The News1st correspondent reported that a number of protests were recorded from various parts of the island including Pussellawa, Gampola, Pupuressa and Hatton areas with estate workers demanding that their daily wages be increased. The estate workers demand the president to intervene and solve their issues.
