One dead in Mampuri motor accident

COLOMBO (News 1st) - One person was reported dead and a pregnant mother was injured in a vehicular accident in Mampuri. The accident occurred when two motorbikes had collided into each other when attempting to overtake a lorry. One of the riders succumbed to his injuries. The pregnant mother, who was admitted to the Puttalam hospital was later transferred to the National Hospital for further treatment.
