Govt cannot pass vote on account - Ravi K

Colombo (News 1st) - The United National Party expressed their stance on the Vote on account by the government. MP Ravi Karunanayake stated that it was brought to his attention that a vote on account was passed in parliament. He noted that there is no cabinet and a government which has no majority or confidence cannot form a cabinet. He went on to state that a government who does not have the majority in Parliament cannot boycott Parliament and pass a vote on account.
