COLOMBO (News 1st) - Chief of Defence Staff Ravindra Wijegunaratne appeared before the Fort Magistrate's court to surrender himself this morning (November 28). Wijegunaratne is in court over allegations of assisting Former Lieutenant Commander Chandana Prasad Hettiarachchi of the Sri Lanka Navy who was involved in the abduction and forced disappearance of 11 youth to evade court.
