The court should decide if Presidents appointments are illegal

Colombo (News 1st) - Minister of International Trade and Investment Promotion Bandula Gunawardana engaged in an inspection tour at the Department of Import and Export Control yesterday (November 23). Minister Bandula Gunawardana stated that he was appointed by the President through a gazette notification issued based according to the constitution. He stated that officials must work according to the constitution and if not, they can go to the Supreme Court and ask whether the appointments made by the President is acceptable. He stated that they will work according to the decision made by the court.
