19 year old stabbed and killed in Matara

Colombo (News 1st) - A 19-year-old boy died after being stabbed with a knife near a tuition class in Matara. Police stated that a group of students had a fight in the vicinity of the tuition class and that it had escalated. They also noted that another student is currently in the Matara Hospital after being admitted with wounds. The 19-year-old victim was Rasindu Gimhana, a Grade 13 student who was a resident of Thihagoda, Mahena, Matara. Matara Police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
