Rs. 14 Mn worth smuggled gold seized at BIA

Colombo (News 1st) - 4 suspects were apprehended at the Katunayaka International Airport for attempting to smuggle gold valued at over Rs. 14 million.
Customs media spokesperson Sunil Jayarathna said that the suspects have arrived to the island from Mumbai.
The gold was concealed in their clothes and travelling bags.
