18 month old dies in accident

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A motorcyclist riding along the Molkaawa - Baduraeliya road collided into an individual and an 18 month old infant. The motorcyclist fled the scene after the accident. The infant had succumbed to his injuries last morning (November 22) upon admission to the Kaluthara Nagoda hospital and later the Lady Ridgeway hospital in Colombo where he was transferred for further treatment. Locals said that the infant aged 18 months had met with this tragic accident when attempting to cross the Molkaawa - Baduraeliya road along with a relation. The Baduraeliya police are currently investigating the accident.
