18 hour water cut for several areas in Colombo

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that several areas including Colombo will experience an 18-hour water cut from 8.00 am tomorrow (November 24). Thereby, Dehiwela-Mount Lavinia, Kotte - Kaduwela Municipal Councils, Maharagama and Boralesgamuwa will have a disrupted water supply tomorrow (November 24).  Meanwhile, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that the Kolonnawa Municipal Council, Kotikawaththa-Mulleriya Municipal Council and Soysapura housing schemes will also experience a disrupted a water supply. A mandatory maintenance of the Ambathale water purification plant has been the reason for the disruption in water supply.
