Gammadda: Basic facilities for Rangiri Ulpatha Aranya Senasanaya

COLOMBO (News 1st): Another Gammadda project was vested with the public today (November 22) as the 1000 projects initiative continues to grow from strength to strength. The Rangiri Ulpatha Aranya Senasanaya in Horowpathana, Anuradhapura is a religious institution which is visited by people of all faiths. The monks who are resident of the Aranya Senasanaya and devotees who visit for religious activities lacked basic facilities, including water. The Gammadda Secretariat dedicated the Il full moon Poya Day to carry out the task of providing a pipeline and other facilities, following a request. The facilities were presented to the Senasanaya with the generous support of Cardiologist Dr. Prakash Priyadarshan, Nilanka Gunathilaka and Tekla Gunathilaka. "These are not things that should be done by Sirasa. These are duties that should be carried out by the Politicians that have been appointed by the people.
