Colombo (News1st): Wasantha Senanayake who stated that he would resign from his Ministerial portfolio had attended the cabinet meeting this afternoon (November 21).

After October 26th Senanayake extended support to President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

However last week Minister Senanayake said the Government did not have majority support in the Parliament so he had decided to extend his support to the United National Party.
