Nishan Peiris replaces Dananjaya for the final Test against England

Colombo (News1st): Nishan Peiris has been called into the Sri Lankan Cricket squad for the third test against England in place of Akila Dhananjaya. The Selections committee has decided to call Nishan Peiris into the squad after Akila Dhananjaya lost the opportunity to play for the national side at the 3rd test between England and Sri Lanka. Peiris who is a test debutant, played first-class cricket with the Baduraliya Cricket Club and the Ragama Cricket Club. He bagged three wickets at the first practice match that was held between Sri Lanka Chairmans Eleven and the England Team. Peiris has also played for the under 19 Sri Lankan squad and has played 12 first-class matches and has taken 38 wickets with an average of 29.52. England after their 2-0 test win against Sri Lanka has gone up to the 3rd place in the ICC test ranking. They were 5th at the start of the series.
