Colombo (News1st): The Inspector General of Police has terminated the transfer of IP Nishantha Silva of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
Speaking to News1st, Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekera said the IGP canceled IP Silva's transfer orders to Negombo this morning. On the 18th of November, transfer orders were issued to IP Silva who is incharge of the CID's Organised Crime Investigation unit.
Senior Police Officers attested to IP Silva's distinguished career standing 20-years, in which he is noted to have solved many cases.
