A special statement by the President

COLOMBO (News 1st) - President Maithripala Sirisena, in a special statement to the nation says he decided to dissolve parliament and allow the people to reach a democratic decision, taking into account the corrupt situation among MPs, the conduct of the Speaker of Parliament, and the possible creation of a violent situation. The President also ordered all Ex-ministers and MPs to immediately return all government vehicles and resources to the respective Ministerial Secretary adding that if anyone fails to do so that he would deploy Sri Lanka Police and enforce the law.   https://www.facebook.com/NewsfirstSL/videos/184319729164998/
