Police search for drugs in Kurunegala tuition classes

Colombo (News 1st) - A special program was held in Kurunegala today (November 10) to prevent school children from being addicted to drugs. Students and their items of luggage were inspected at tuition classes in the Kurunegala town area. The Police K9 unit was also deployed in the search operation. Around 1,500 students studying in tuition classes were inspected today, while the Kurunegala Police stated that similar search operations will be carried out in the future as well.
