Colombo (News 1st) – Mahinda Rajapaksa was interviewed by Aljazeera at the Prime Ministers office on Thursday.
Talking to Al Jazeera he states that his appointment is legitimate and that he is now getting on with the job. He further notes that he has 130 votes of MP’s supporting his appointment as the PM and that the delay in reconvening Parliament is due to the preparation of the budget.
Rajapaksa ends his interview with Aljazeera stating he looks forward to being the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.
