Businessman arrested at BIA with illegal foreign currency

Colombo (News 1st) - A 28-year-old Tamil Nadu businessman was arrested at BIA for attempting to fly to Singapore with undeclared foreign currency concealed in his luggage. The currency valued at Rs. 27.4 Million comprised of Pounds, Euro, Saudi Riyals and UAE Dirhams.
