Two police constables hospitalised

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two police constables attached to the Galewela police station were hospitalized after being assaulted in an attempt to arrest two suspects. Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that the victims were attacked by a group of people who had arrived by a group of people that had arrived at the location in Keeralagolla, Galewela where they had gone to arrest the suspects. They are currently been treated at the Galewela and Dambulla hospitals. However, the two suspects were later arrested in another operation by the police.
