Foreign currency worth over Rs.6.4Mn seized at BIA

Colombo (News1st): Customs Officials at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) arrested a businessman who attempted to smuggle foreign currency over Rs. 6.4 million to Singapore.
The individual is a 52-year-old resident of Nugegoda. The money had been strategically hidden in a laptop case and had included American dollars, Singapore dollars, Euros and Sri Lankan rupees as well.
