People's Bank BOD ready to step down

Colombo (News 1st) - People's Bank Chairman Hemasiri Fernando says he along with the Board of Directors are prepared to step down as per the directive issued by the President. Speaking to News 1st, Fernando said the subject minister Lakshman Kiriella has not yet handed over to him the order issued by the President and this has led to an issue in stepping down from their positions.
