Colombo (News1st) - There is a power struggle going on, the key figures are duking it out on the stage but the public should not focus on what happens to them, instead they should pay close attention at what happens to themselves. A perfect summary of the current political situation in the country delivered by Pubudu Jagoda of the Frontline socialist party. Jagoda believes that the appropriations bill which was tabled recently provides a glimpse into what the people can expect adding that everything will be made crystal clear when the budget is tabled in November, when fuel prices increase on the 10th of November it will become even clearer.  Jagoda notes that to distract the general public from all this the actors on the stage will do various acts and shine different colored lights in your face. According to Jagoda the current political landscape is like a soap opera or a love story. Back then Maithripala Sirisena and Ranil Wickremesinghe were the lovers while Mahinda Rajapaksa was the villain. Now the roles have changed, Maithripala Sirisena and Mahinda Rajapaksa are the loves while Ranil Wickremesinghe is the scorned lover.  Instead of waiting to see what happens to the Government or which Rajapaksa emerged to challenge for the throne the public should pay close attention to what is happening around them. ඉල්ලන්න තියෙන්නේ--
