187 human skeletals uncovered from Mannar mass grave

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The specialist team investigating the mass grave in Mannar stated that 187 human skeletal remains were discovered thus far. The remains were discovered in the sand removed from the Sathosa building that was demolished in Mannar. Excavations began based on an order issued by Mannar Magistrate A.P. Alexraj after the Mannar police presented the facts to courts. Professor Raj Somadeva said that skeletal remains of 15 children were also found at the mass grave.
