Your tax money being wasted

Colombo (News1st): On multiple occasions, News1st reported about the construction of the road joining Deraniyagala to Kuruvita being halted. Although this was reported several times, the road has not been renovated, wasting millions of public funds. More than 200 families use this 15 km road on a daily basis. Construction activities began in 2015 and the road has not been renovated up to date inconveniencing the area residents. Expensive equipment brought to carry out the construction activities can be seen decaying. The locals request the relevant authorities to renovate the road immediately.
