Pakistani heroin smuggler arrested at BIA

Colombo (News1st): A Pakistani national was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport while attempting to smuggle heroin over Rs. 30 million worth into the country. The arrest was made by the Police Narcotics Bureau based on a tip-off. 2.42 Kg of heroin was found in his possession. The 28-year-old had arrived on the island from Doha Qatar.
