Chinese cigarette smuggler arrested at BIA

Colombo (News1st): A Chinese national who attempted to smuggle cigarettes valued at Rs. 600,000 into the country was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning (October 13). The 38-year-old was arrested by customs officers along with 12,000 cigarettes concealed in 60 cartons.
