Kerala ganja bust in Trinco & Mullativu

Colombo (News 1s) - A suspect who was in possession of 4 kgs and 592 grams of Kerala ganja was arrested today in the Omantha area as he was traveling in a bus. Police said the 21-year-old suspect, a resident of Trincomalee was remanded after being produced before the Vavuniya Magistrate's Court today. Meanwhile, another suspect in possession of 6 kgs and 844 grams of cannabis was taken into custody in Mullaitivu. The suspect was produced before Magistrates court and is being questioned under detention orders.
