Cyclonic storm “Titli” likely to move towards India

Colombo (News1st): The cyclonic storm “Titli” which is located 950km away from Trincomalee is likely to move North-westwards towards Andhra Pradesh coast of India, according to the Meteorological Department. Fairly strong gusty winds up to 50 kmph can be expected over the Western, Southern, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces. Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, North-western, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle, Matara, and Mannar districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere particularly after 2.00 p.m.
