COLOMBO (News 1st) - Speaking at a media briefing, Executive Director for the Centre for Human Rights and Research, Keerthi Tennakoon said the investigations into the controversial photographs taken atop the Pidurangala Mountain are based on malice. He further said that the photographs in question were in-fact taken at the Diyaluma Water-Fall in Koslanda and not atop the Pidurangala Mountain adding that it was photoshopped to appear so. He says the main motive behind the government establishing such notions in society is simply to drive away attention from the more important internal issues.
