Thundershowers to be expected in most parts of the country in the next four hours

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The department of meteorology predicts thundershowers in the North Western, North Central, and Central provinces as well as in the districts of Vavuniya, Mannar, and Kegalle in the next four hours. Heavy rainfall above 100 mm is also predicted in some areas. The department further predicts the wind speed in certain areas to reach 70 - 80 kmph.
