Lightning strike claims a life in Anuradhapura

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A woman died after being struck by lightning in Karagahawewa, Anuradhapura. The News 1st correspondent in the area said the incident occurred at around 6.30 last evening (October 05). The villagers said that the victim had encountered the unfortunate incident when returning home after farming activities.
