2 children dies after falling into a garden pit in Pothuhera

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two children died after falling into a pit dug up in the Katupitiya Estate, Pothuhera. One of the victims was identified as the son of the gatekeeper of Katupitiya Estate and that the other was a relative. The police confirmed that the victims aged 13 and 4 had expired due to the delay in the rescue process. The remains currently rest at the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital in order to carry out the Postmortem examination.
