Dengue Cases Exceed 89,000; Death Toll Reaches 64

COLOMBO (News 1st): The number of dengue cases reported in the country so far this year has exceeded 89,000.

A total of 3,686 cases have been reported in August alone. 

According to the National Dengue Control Unit, a total of 64 dengue-related deaths have been reported so far this year. 

A total of 119 high-risk MOH divisions across the country have been identified. 

According to the National Dengue Control Unit, mosquito control activities are continuing in the identified high-risk areas.
