One dead and one injured following accident in Puttalam involving a cow

Colombo (News1st): One person died and the another severely injured due to an accident that took place around 7 PM yesterday (October 04) in Kaladiya, Puttalam. According to the police, the motorbike collided with a cow that was crossing the road and had then collided with a private bus plying towards Puttalam. The deceased was the rider of the motorbike, a 44-year-old father of two. The pillion rider who sustained serious injuries has been admitted to the Puttalam base hospital. The driver of the bus was arrested over the incident.
