Government increases gas prices again

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The price of a domestic 12.5 kg gas cylinder has been increased by Rs. 195 with effect from midnight tonight (September 26).
The Consumer Affairs Authority said the price increase is based on a decision reached by the Cabinet of Ministers last week.
Following the increase, the new price of a domestic gas cylinder will be Rs. 1,733.
