COLOMBO (News 1st) – President Maithripala Sirisena is due to address the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly this evening (September 25) at the UN Headquarters.

This year’s theme of the UNGA Session is, “Making the United Nations Relevant to All People: Global Leadership and Shared responsibilities for Peaceful, Equitable, and Sustainable Societies.”

This will be President Maithripala Sirisena’s fourth address at a UN General Assembly.
