REUTERS – Indian left-arm-spinner Ravindra Jadeja on Friday (September 21) took four wickets and put on a match-winning performance against Bangladesh as he made a strong comeback to one-day cricket after a gap of more than a year.
Jadeja last played an ODI in July 2017 and made a comeback into the field almost after 480 days. After the match, he said that he wasn’t getting chances and so when he got the chance he was determined to give his best performance.
Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals and was bundled out at a modest 173. In reply, skipper Rohit Sharma led the chase with an unbeaten 83 and saw the team home.
