Two killed in three wheeler accident

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two individuals died in an accident which took place in Maliyappuwa along the Hatton - Nuwara Eliya main road. The accident occurred when a bus plying from Thalawakale collided with a three-wheeler. Three people had been traveling in the three-wheeler at the time of the accident. The driver and a passenger passed away while the other passenger was admitted to the Kandy Teaching Hospital after sustaining severe injuries. The driver of the bus has been arrested.
