Protest in Katugasthota jams A9

Colombo (News 1st) - Traffic congestion has been reported along the A9 Kandy Jaffna road in Katugasthota due to a protest launched by a group of vendors. The vendors are expressing their disapproval of the removal of a police post that was located near the Manik-kumbura market located in Katugasthota. When News1st inquired Officials of the Katugasthota Police Station, they said that higher officials have been notified about the protest, adding that steps will be taken to fulfill the request in the near future.
