Dry weather affects nearly 900,000

Colombo (News1st): The Met Department stated over 900,000 people have been affected by the dry weather conditions that have affected 17 districts in the country. Deputy Director Pradeep Kodipillai said the Northern Province has been the worst affected by the hot weather conditions. He added that steps will be taken to give relief packages to every family affected by the prevailing adverse weather conditions.
