Neonatal unit at De Soysa Maternity Hospital declared open

Colombo (News 1st) - A new building of the De Soysa Maternity Hospital in Borella was declared open yesterday (September 13). The event took place under the auspices of Minister Dr Rajitha Senerathne. The 5 storeyed building is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a blood bank. Minister of Health and Indigenous Medicine, Dr Rajitha Senerathne addressing the event stated that in the near future he will build an even bigger building costing approximately Rs 1.2 billion using foreign aid. He adds to the possible building could be of European standards.
