Accident in Polonnaruwa claims a life

Colombo (News1st): An individual was killed and another was injured in an accident in Bendiwewa, Polonnaruwa this morning (September 13).
The accident took place when a lorry plying from Colombo to Kalmunai veered off the road and crashed into a tree.
The deceased is the 49-year-old driver of the lorry. He was a resident of Kalmunai. The injured was admitted to the Polonnaruwa General Hospital.
