Gang of thieves arrested in Mt. Lavinia

Colombo (News 1st) - Five suspects have been arrested in Mount Lavinia in connection to a number of crimes. According to the police, the suspects break into homes threaten its residents and steal their valuables. The police have taken into custody; 04 mobile phones, 02 televisions, 01 computer tablet and items such as 02 swords, 01 iron bar and a plastic pistol that were in the suspects' possession. The arrested suspects are residents of Moratuwa and Rathmalana who are 23, 27 and 25 years of age. The suspects are to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's court today (September 08).
