Police raid marijuana cultivation in Middeniya

Colombo (News 1st) - Police raided an illegal marijuana cultivation in Rathmalwala, Middeniya. The raid was carried based on a tip-off received by the Police yesterday (September 06). The cultivation had been in operation for a period of 06 months. The Police stated that 3 suspects were arrested following the raid. The Police further noted that 681 bushes of marijuana were taken to their custody. The arrested suspects are residents of Buwallagoda. The suspects will be produced before the Walasmulla magistrate court today (September 07).
