UPDATE : #CMBprotest by JO causes heavy traffic

Colombo (News 1st) - The rally organized by the Joint Opposition that started from Town Hall is currently moving towards the Lakehouse roundabout. News 1st Correspondents stated that traffic congestion is being reported along the D. R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Lotus Road, Darley Road, and Ibbanwala. Heavy traffic congestion can also be experienced near Sugathadasa stadium, Armour street, Panchikawaththa and Technical Junction and from Technical Junction towards Lakehouse. The Police states that the entry of heavy vehicles from Colpetty to Galle Face has been limited. -------------------------------------------------------------------   The JO protest rally "Jana Balaya Kolambata" commenced from Townhall a short while ago. Earlier today MP Udaya Gammanpila announced that the primary location of the rally would be the lakehouse roundabout.  protestors are expected to converge at the location.
