Suspect arrested in connection to Kadawatha Shooting

Colombo (News1st): A suspect has been arrested in connection to a shooting that took place in Ranmuthugala, Kadawatha earlier this month. According to the Police, the arrest was made in Biyagama by the Peliyagoda crimes division. The suspect is a 26-year-old heroin addict from Malwana. Investigations revealed that the murder was planned by an individual named Gotha Asanka who is currently in remand custody. The arrested suspect will be produced before the Mahara magistrate court today (August 31). Investigations continue to take place to arrest 2 more suspects.
