COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Attorney General's Department informed court today (August 30) that all legal measures have been taken to extradite fugitive former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran to Sri Lanka from Singapore. The Attorney Generals Department also informed court that there is no legal barrier for Arjuna Mahendran to acquire the documents he sought earlier via Interpol Singapore in connection to the magisterial inquiry on the Bond Scam. Meanwhile, the beneficial owner of Perpetual Treasuries Limited Arjun Aloysius and it's CEO Kasun Palisena were further remanded until the 13th of September.
