Shooting in Maligawatta by armed motorcyclists

Colombo (News 1st) - An individual was injured in a shooting in the Jumma Masjid Road in Maligawatta this morning (August 30). Police Media spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that two individuals on a motorcycle had carried out the shooting at around 10:50 AM. The victim was been admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo. A similar shooting carried out by two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle, on the 26th August killed a 30-year-old woman in the same area.
